Kentucky Fried Movie was directed by John Landis, who later directed the classic Animal House, it is a collection of short sketches, plus a 30 minute film within the movie called A Fistful of Yen.
The sketches run from hilarious to a couple that are not very funny today, they are often unrelated to each other, although some do merge into each-other a-la-Monty Python and cover a diverse range of subjects from the hilarious Danger Seekers (which killed me) to a information film about zinc-oxide (very Benny Hill).
The films longest sketch is A Fistful of Yen, a parody on Enter the Dragon, which has a large amount of slapstick comedy, it even pays homage to the Wizard of Oz at the end! Catholic School Girls In Trouble was a good parody of that genre too, and the entire movie has a generous helping of partial nudity also!
For a 30 year old sketch movie, its still pretty funny, I laughed and laughed, particually at Danger Seekers sketch (OK I just didn't see it coming in our PC world :) ) If you have a good sense of humour, you need to watch Kentucky Fried Movie!
