As I have both Kill Bill movies, I'm watching both back to back (well sort of, in the same week anyhow), so tonights was Kill Bill Volume 1.
An entire wedding party is slaughtered in a rural chapel, the pregnant bride in the blood-splattered wedding dress is an assassin, Black Mamba. The killer behind it, Bill, and his circle known as The Vipers left The Bride for dead, but unluckily for them she is only comatose.
Four years later, The Bride suddenly awakens from her coma during a rape attempt and realizes what has been done to her. She kills her assailant and sets off on a ferociously focused mission, setting out to seek revenge on her former master and his deadly squad of assassins. One by one, she kills the various members of the assassin group, saving Bill for last in Volume 2.
I love the genius of Quentin Taranteno, and this didn't let me down - WOW! - A non stop barrage of action! I'm very much looking forward to volume 2!
