The City of Lost Children revolves around Krank (Daniel Emilfork), who is prematurely aged and cannot dream. Krank lives with his dwarf wife, Mademoiselle Bismuth (Mireille Mosse), six clones (Domnique Pinon), who where created by a scientist now long missing, and a migraine suffering brain in a tank!
Driven insane by his inability to dream and his lost youth, Krank enlists the help a gang of mechanically enhanced men, the Cyclops, to kidnap children for him. By inserting sleeping children into a dream machine, Krank hopes to take their dreams as his own, and regain his innocence, and perhaps his youth.
I managed to get a dubbed version of The City of Lost Children, I refuse to read movies, and the dubbing was very good! Its set in a cyberpunk world, and is pretty bizarre, but very enjoyable too! Recommended!
