The Rules Of Attraction is a tale about wanting and being wanted, its a complicated plot, five students wanting other students, how their lives intertwine, and how they all fail, its full of a freeze-frames, split screens, film running backwards, rapid editing, and they are used to show college students failing in love and life. Pornography, booze, drugs, masturbation, 1980s pop music, beatings, suicide, attempted suicide, faked suicide, rape, loss of bladder control, and pseudo-philosophy are all on display!
I found it very entertaining, but the hype on the box probably over-sold the DVD , but I don't regret watching it!
The Rules Of Attraction is a good movie, I know some slated it, but IMHO its worth watching, all the main stars I believe are unknowns, but many supporting actors are well known!
