In Reign Of Fire, its present-day London, 12-year-old Quinn watches his mother (Alice Krige), a construction engineer, accidentally wakes a massive fire-breathing Dragon from its centuries of slumber.
Twenty years later, the world has been scarred by the beast and its offspring, Quinn Abercromby (Christian Bale) is keeping a small community alive as they live out a meagre existence, and things are looking bleak for the human race. Hotshot Denton Van Zan (Matthew McConaughey) arrives with his small army, and says he can kill any dragon, and knows how to rid the world of them for good!
Reign of Fire is a really good movie I enjoyed it very much, edge of the seat stuff, great CGI, great acting and although the story may sound a bit silly, it is really very good! Reccomended!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
