In Timeline, Chris Johnston (Paul Walker) visits his father, Professor Edward Johnston (Billy Connolly), an archaeologist working at a dig in France that has uncovered secrets behind the Hundred Years War. After the he leaves for a business trip, the crew uncovers a help message from him dated back to the 14th-century and learn he was part of a time-travel project that discovered a wormhole to 1357, the timeline they are studying!
Chris joins Kate Ericson (Frances OConnor) and three other scientists in a dangerous rescue mission back in time. The primitive Renaissance seems simple enough to dodge during their six-hour adventure, they soon realise that having 600 years of knowledge doesn't help as much as they thought!
Timeline sounds like its a good movie, but I found it dull, the BBC Robin Hood series has a far more convincing Middle Ages, I think trimming it down to 90 minutes may have helped it!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
