Peter Kay Driven To Distraction DVD Report

The main feature of this DVD is 25 minute comedy from 1997, part of the New Voices showcase comedy show.

Three men are robbing a pub. Peter Kay is a naive get away driver, who rather than stealing a get away car has purchased on with money borrowed from his mum, much to the amusement of his co-conspirators, he needs to sell the car afterwards to pay the money back.

As for the actual hold up - you quickly get the impression that these boys are novices and haven't really got the stomach for the job. They soon get bullied out of going through with the robbery by the weird and wonderful locals. Starring alongside Peter Kay are Alexei Sayle, Paul Shane and Lynda Baron.

Overall the main story is very god, the DVD extras include two Coronation Street episodes where Peter Kay plays a Shop-fitter, these episodes amused my wife :)
