After the 1970s the Exorcist movie, there was a rush to turn horror novels into movies, one of these movies was Audrey Rose, although calling this a horror is misrepresenting it. When it was advertised on TV in the 1970s I really wanted to see it, and as I've never had the opportunity to see it, I bought a Region 1 copy off the internet.
This was one of the biggest movie let-downs all year for me, I know its a 1970s movie, but damn, its all new age bollocks, and total tedium! I don't see any chilling moments, its more of a cable channel afternoon TV movie!
I won't tell you the plot of Audrey Rose, one of the links will do this for you, I'll just add its fortunate that in the real world it would have never got to court! I respect other peoples beliefs, but don't want to watch movies about them! Theres more about it here.
