In 8MM2 we find David (Jonathon Schaech), a young politician with a promising career and his beautiful fiancee, Tish (Lori Heuring). But when the young couple engages in a threesome with a gorgeous model (Zita Gorog), they stand to lose everything, as an unknown extortionist has a film of their fun and games! As the blackmailer pumps David for exorbitant sums, the ambitious young man enters the seedy realm of Budapests porn world, trying to track down his tormentor. But when David is kidnapped, he stands to lose more than his career, and its up to Tish to find him before he forfeits his life as well.
This movie has nothing to do with the first 8MM movie, it was originally called The Velvet Side of Hell, but Sony picked up the rights to distribute it, and it was retitled 8MM2.
This wasn't a bad movie, and I didn't guess the ending either, which makes a change, but I did guess who was behind it all 40 minutes in :( I'd be a lot happier if it had the original title, but then again if it had, I probably wouldn't have watched it!
