Magicians follows the career of magicians Harry and Karl, once a famous duet but ever since Karl had an affair with Harrys wife and Harry accidentally killed her, they went their separate ways but are struggling alone. They decide to pair up for the big Magic tournament that offers a grand cash prize of £20,000.
Karl (Robert Webb) is with his agent, a repressive homosexual who tries to bring Karl on side, but Karl pursues the naive Dani and tries to woo her by pretending to be physic and contacting her dead father. Harry (David Mitchell) meets a new assistant who is attracted to him, yet he is reluctant at first.
The first 45 minutes of Magicians where very good, it then got a bit slow and dull, and I guessed the ending exactly, but then again, so will you! Its not a bad movie, but a lot like a TV show.
