Having scraped the barrel with Oceans Twelve, making little more than a pantomime, Oceans Thirteen enters the arena. Everyone is back, wuth a new old head on the block, Willy Bank (Al Pacino), an unscrupulous Vegas kingpin who swindles Reuben Tishkoff (Elliott Gould) out of his share of their brand new hotel casino - So the gang set out to get his money back, with interest!
They even enlist the help of former adversary Terry Benedict (Andy Garcia), who insists they steal Banks diamonds into the bargain, and arranges a double cross, but being its Oceans Thirteen... They use as much high-tech gadgetry as they can find, from simulated earthquakes to magnetic dice, a bit like 1970s Mission Impossible with bells added!
Overall Oceans Thirteen is a fantastic recovery, its not a trilogy, its two movies, parts 1 and 3, lets never speak of part 2 again :)
