Route 666 begins with the brutal murder of a prison chain gang, leaving an unsuspecting pair of special agents and their prisoner doing battle against the forces of the undead in this tale of highway horror.
Three of mafia hitmen force special agents Jack (Lou Diamond Phillips) and Stephanie (Lori Petty) off the beaten path and down a desert shortcut, vengeful ghosts quickly take precedence over begrudged gangsters. Jack and Stephanie must face off the brutal specters or risk losing their lives as well as their souls.
I am very surprised Route 666 was a good movie, of course you have to suspend reality for 90 minutes, and the zombies are pretty lame (they are more like mummies), but the story is really good and its also pretty non-stop, I think its the first cop-horror I've seen, but they got the balance right and I recommend this to anyone!
