Event Horizon unleashes some of the most unsettling horror imagery in years, its hard to believe this movie is 20 years old, think Hellraiser as a sci-fi movie!
In 2046 the Event Horizon spaceship disappeared, seven years later it turns up where they left it, so a spaceship is sent beyond Neptune to find out what has happened. The lost ship is discovered, with geysers of blood spattering its walls, and we expect some intergalactic creature, but the demon turns out to be more abstract than that, and far creepier! The ship has been through a black hole and back, suggesting whats waiting out there in the cosmic void is far more sinister than anything in our dimension!
Laurence Fishburne, Sean Pertwee and Sam Neill stare into the face of hell! Event Horizon is one of my favorite movies, and for 20 year old CGI, it holds up pretty well too!
