In Halloween, after brutally killing his older sister and her boyfriend, as well as his step-father on Halloween, the young Michael Myers is institutionalised. Doctor Loomis is assigned to his case, he patiently studies the boy, but after years of sessions, he sees Myers regress into himself, and finally admits there is nothing more he can do. After writing a book on Myers, Loomis retires.
When the institution phones Loomis, telling him the adult Myers has escaped, the doctor feels obliged to become involved once again - for he alone knows how Myers thinks. Its Halloween and Myers has returned to Haddonfield to find the baby sister he left behind. Teenage babysitter Laurie Strode is about to experience a Halloween she'll never forget!
So is this remake of Halloween any good? I'm a fan off the John Carpenter Halloween series and as a Rob Zombie fan I can say I really enjoyed this! Zombie spent 30+ minutes on the young Myers, all we have known about him previously is titbits from each movie, and although the remake followed the general idea the the first film, it was differant enough to keep me interested! Great movie
Here is the trailer...
I am looking for a copy of Halloween 666 The Produrers cut, containing 43 minutes of alternative cuts and takes, plus a differant ending, if anyone can help please let me know :) Note this is an alternative version of Halloween 6!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
