Syriana is a espionage thriller set in the Middle East. Bob Barnes (George Clooney) is a long-time CIA agent who wants to slow down his life to spend more time with his teenage son, but his mission to get rid of Prince Nasir (Alexander Siddig), has serious issues, placing him in the middle of a dangerous conspiracy involving government corruption, oil, and international terrorism!
Bryan Woodman (Matt Damon) is an energy man whose ethics become vulnerable after the loss of one of his sons. Meanwhile in Washington, lawyers Bennett Holiday (Jeffrey Wright) and Dean Whiting (Christopher Plummer) must choose between the governments special interests and whats best for the world, and their own special interests.
As you have probably guessed from the last two paragraphs, Syriana is a very complicated movie, but equally very good! Defiantly a movie you ought to watch!
