Death Proof DVD Report

In Death Proof we meet Jungle Julia (Sydney Poitier), a black DJ from Austin, who sets out on a wild girls night out, but attracts the attention of handsome but ageing Stuntman Mike (Kurt Russell), who murders women using his two ton death proof muscle-car.

14 months later, another town, another target, but this time Stuntman Mike picks on two stuntwomen, who not only fight back, but enjoy it! What follows is classic Quentin Tarantino!

I do like Tarantinos work, however Death Proof was too slow at the start, I was starting to think he had taken script editing from Russell T Davies - Damn! But when it started, it really started and was well worth the wait! Russell is perfectly cast and the ending reminded me of Faster Pussycat Kill Kill, a personal favorite!
