Scary Movie is a clever satire of teen slash-and-gore horror movies. After the murder of a classmate, a group of teens discover there is a killer among them, Cindy Campbell (Anna Faris) and her clueless friends must all protect themselves from danger, and the reporter Gail Hailstorm (Cheri Oteri) who won't leave them alone!
The number of jokes packed into the movie is impressive, and if one misses, then the next will surely hit! In the first ten minutes, the movie clearly shows its ingenuity with a parody of the opening scene from Scream. From the killer hiding himself behind the couch badly, to the sprinkler and breast implant scenes, one gag after another is thrown at you!
Scary Movie is the first of 4 movies, which I want to watch today and tomorrow, lets see if they go dramatically downhill! The first one is still a definite hit!
