In Stephen Kings The Mist, a group of strangers are trapped inside a supermarket, after a strange mist falls on an American town after a storm, but its not this Mist thats the problem, its the giant prehistoric style insects that are in it, and we are their food!
The survivors suspect its the results from a secret military experiment carried out at the army base. One of the survivors is a religious zealot who wastes no time in convincing some of the others this is Gods judgement day.
What follows is a very edge of the seat movie, with tension, action, and horror - my only criticism is their solution at the end of the movie, more data was needed before making it, otherwise The Mist its fantastic!
