Urban Legend takes place on the campus of Pendleton College. Following a murder, a group of friends, Natalie (Alicia Witt), Brenda (Rebecca Gayheart), Paul (Jared Leto), Parker (Michael Rosenbaum), Damon (Joshua Jackson), and Sasha (Tara Reid) talk about its similarity to an urban legend in Professor William Wexlers (Robert Englund) class about them.
More murders occur, all with an urban legend theme, and they are all around Natalie. Is someone stalking her? Are her friends safe? Natalie begins to investigate, while journalist Paul fights with the school administration to reveal more information about the murders 20 years ago. No-one wants to take Natalie seriously, but when the bodies begin to pile up, you have to ask whos next?
Urban Legend is a pretty good movie, it sounds like its going to suck, but its well made and a good story. I think I've seen it before, many years ago!
BTW the Bloody Mary idea for part 3 is covered in the first 10 minutes, the three movies aren't a trilogy, in fact 1 and 2 are only linked by Reese Wilson (Loretta Devine), part 3 just by a scene from part 1!
