In The Beast Must Die, wealthy big game hunter Tom Newcliffe (Calvin Lockheart) has hunted every type of animal in the world, but one creature is still on his list, a Werewolf.
Tom invites five guests to his island, knowing they all are tied to unusual circumstances of death, and that one of them must be a Werewolf! Add to the fun Toms alluring wife Caroline (Marlene Clark) and surveillance expert, Pavel (Anton Diffring), we find Tom tracks the werewolf, but one by one the creature kills the isolated guests.
When I was younger, I loved Hammer and Amicus movies, I remember watching The Beast Must Die on Midlands TV 25+ years ago, and it certainly hasn't passed the test of time, the Werewolf is just an Alsation dog, there are no transformation scenes, and the movie plays like an episode of a TV series. Overall very poor by todays standards, and not a classic!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
