In the Last Legion, its the Roman Empires eve of the coronation of the 12-year-old Romulus Augustus (Thomas Sangster), but his mentor, the shaman Ambrosinus (Ben Kingsley), predicts disaster, then the Goths attack and capture Rome! Aurelius (Colin Firth), the boys loyal bodyguard, survives to escort his Emperor to safety. Aided by Mira (Aishwarya Rai) a Byzantine warrior, they free Romulus only to face betrayal, now theres a perilous trek across a continent to Britain in search of the ninth legion!
The Last Legion is a great movie, and an awesome pre-cursor to the Arthurian legend too! Fantastic!
