Max Raban (James Nesbitt) has a phobia of daylight, his dreams of becoming a top journalist again have diminished since he finds himself rummaging through bins in search of stories. When Max uncovers an important international conspiracy, life takes a turn for the worst!
Max suspects that a death squad is targeting pro-Islamists after uncovering the murder of two Iranian cousins. Then he must clear his name after being framed for his wifes murder by the same death squad, and then things get very awkward for him.
I am a great fan of Nesbitt and really enjoyed this DVD, and I didn't see this on TV when originally shown. But why didn't the death squad kill Max instead of his wife? IMHO the logical thing to do! Otherwise a great story!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
