Plague (1978) DVD Report

In Plague, at the McNaughton Research Laboratory, Doctor Celia Graham (Brenda Donohue), tired of waiting for what she sees as overly cautious bureaucracy to give permission to continue with her experiments, develops a strain of mutated bacteria. The M3 strain proves deadly and kills her, then spreads to the outside world through a faulty ventilation system.

Her colleague Doctor Bill Fuller (Daniel Pilon) works around the clock to perfect an antidote, while authorities make all effort to stop the infection spreading, but an infected woman, unaffected by the symptoms, escapes custody, spreading contagion wherever she goes.

Plague is also known as M3 The Gemini Strain. I'm sure I've seen this before, probably in the early 1980s when we rented anything we could on video as the three UK TV channels left a lot to be desired movie-wise. Its very budget, I'm sure the McNaughton Research Laboratory building is also used at another later in the film, it looks identical! Overall dated and budget!
