In Shadow Hours, Michael Halloway (Balthazar Getty) wants to start a new life with his pregnant wife Chloe and put his drug and alcohol addiction behind him. Working in a night gas station in Los Angeles, trying to make an honest living, he is befriended by the mysterious Stuart Chapell (Peter Weller), who claims to be an author, and entices him to join in his research for a novel.
This innocent journey into the seedier side of the city at night turns into a swift descent into sinful pleasure, decay and debauchery, forcing Michael to make choices that will determine who will win his soul.
Shadow Hours is more then a good movie, its a brilliant movie, the first hour is fun, the next 30 minutes are very bizarre, its all very enjoyable and Weller is fantastic too!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
