In D-Tox, recovering from the psychological effects of witnessing his fiance being butchered, FBI agent Jack Malloy (Sylvestor Stallone) is checked into a rehabilitation clinic for police officers, ran by the elusive Doc (Kris Kristofferson). There, stripped of their badges and weapons, they can dry out, face their demons, and look towards their futures.
However, the therapeutic sanctuary soon becomes a nightmarish prison when a major snowstorm cuts the clinic off from any communication to the outside world, plus patients begin to turn up dead in suspicious circumstances and it becomes clear that there is indeed a killer among them, but has a killer from Malloys past turned up?
D-Tox didn't do so well, first held back by Universal for three years, then poor in the box office, followed by average reviews, but I liked it, and enjoyable action-thriller!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
