Hell to Pay is set in Londons underworld, Dave Malone (Dave Courtney) and Larry Malone (Billy Murray) are brothers who jointly run a London firm. Larry tries to cover his tracks after taking a rival gang boss for £100,000 of drug money. This is the start of events that lead to double-cross, murder, and full scale war between the brothers. Larry sees the drug trade as an easy way to make money, despite his brothers protests, but Dave, who is forced to kill Johnny Murphy (Terry Stone) to protect Larry, is arrested for murder, Larry takes the opportunity to set himself up as drug baron.
This uses the fly on the wall documentary style, it chronicles events in the British gangster lifestyle. Gangster icons Dave Courtney, Joey Pyle, Pretty Boy Roy Shaw, and Tony Lambrianou, all long-time associates of the Krays star, with guest apperances by Garry Bushell, John Altman, and many others!
Hell To Pay is a really enjoyable movie, the only person I'd replace is Garry Bushell, who clearly can't act and seems to have an irritating grin on his face when the cameras pointed at him! Overall, its well worth watching! Includes An Audience With Dave Courtney in the extras too!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
