In Population 436, a US census taker, Steve Kady (Jeremy Sisto) has to assess the population in a remote mountain community, Rockwell Falls, but becomes trapped in this town full of golden rules that don't allow its population to drop below or exceed 436 citizens, a number in accordance with Gods Law.
No-one is ever to leave Rockwell Falls and that the town citizens will do whatever it takes to maintain the status quo, after fending off a lobotomy and pretending to go along with the program, the Steve tries to escape. Will the population finally be altered?
Population 436 is OK as a mystery movie, but I can't help feeling would it make a better episode of the TV show such as the X-Files? It had a reasonable start and a good ending, but seemed a little stretched in the middle! Not too bad though.
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
