In National Treasure 2 The Book Of Secrets, we are reminded treasure hunter Benjamin Franklin Gates (Nicolas Cage) and his father, Patrick (Jon Voight), take pride in their ancestors devotion to the USA. But Mitch Wilkinson (Ed Harris) produces a page from the diary of Lincoln assassin, John Wilkes Booth, linking Bens family to the plot, so Ben and Patrick set out to clear the family name. Plus Ben believes the page to contain hints to the whereabouts of a treasure map, leading to an ancient city of gold - Soon the hunt is on!
Technical expert Riley Poole (Justin Bartha) and Bens ex-girlfriend Abigail Chase (Diane Kruger) both join the quest, which takes them from Washington to Paris, to London and to the Black Hills of South Dakota. They break into Buckingham Palace, the Oval Office, and kidnap the President of the United States, all this is completely unbelievable, but with a storyline built on interesting trivia (with poetic license) plus great locations, the film is an amusing, family-friendly romp.
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
