In The Number 23, Walter Sparrow (Jim Carrey) is an average man, who is given a tattered book called The Number 23 by his wife, Agatha (Virginia Madsen). As Walter reads, he notices similarities to his own life, and unknowingly invites the book to take over.
The deeper Walter gets into the plot, the more he sees himself as the main character, Detective Fingerling, we learn the massive role the number 23 has played in the book and will play in Walters future if he cannot keep the growing obsession at bay.
The Number 23 is a very entertaining movie, I recommend it to anyone who likes a mystery, and its good to see Carrey in a different role too!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
