The Toolbox Murders begins with 20 minutes of murdering people with tools from a toolbox, to the sound of country and western music, which I found amusing! But this is pretty dull, then it moves onto 1970s TV movie-style detective story, and finally to its dull conclusion.
This is an uncut print, how this got banned and branded a video nasty is beyond me (I suspect the tabloids where to blame?), the murderer in a ski-mask isn't even menacing, theres a lot of blood, but little gore. Tobe Hooper has remade The Toolbox Murders a few years ago, I'd like to see this, to see if they do the legend justice, as this is dull! Avoid it like a toolbox Murderer!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
