In The X Files I Want to Believe, the FBI ask Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) back with all sins forgiven, to unravel a bizarre case, with him he brings Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson).

Amidst a bone-chilling cold and an eerily deceptive calm landscape, an FBI agent is abducted, but this is no ordinary kidnapping, it defies the boundaries of science, the supernatural and the spaces in between.

The X Files I Want to Believe bombed at the box office, and as a huge X Files fan I think its obvious why, other than Mulder and Scully, the only other X Files regular in it was Walter Skinner (Mitch Pileggi) , and he was only in it for 5 minutes. Whats more there where no aliens and the only supernatural aspect to the story was a psychic, it was as much a Millennium story as an X Files one! Although I enjoyed the movie, and seeing Mulder and Scully back together, it wasn't really the X Files (in the same way Doctor Who The Enemy Within wasn't really Doctor Who!). I Still enjoyed the movie as a thriller, the last 20 minutes are excellent, with some good ideas! Recommended!
