The Adventures of Baron Munchausen is a wild version of the stories of Baron Munchausen, pushing the limits of 1988 special effects technology!
The story in a nutshell is the Baron of the title attempts to get his old friends back together, so he can defeat the Turkish army, with high adventure along the way! There are lots of stars, such as Eric Idle, Sting, Alison Steadman, and Uma Thurman too.
The Adventures of Baron Munchausen story isn't bad, but its the special efffects that wound me up, many of them looked poor, the blue screen stuff is the real bummer, the foreground had the colour fading, the background didn't! After being remastered the movie may well be saved though!
