This is an essential to all Python fans! Its a compilation of 8 shows from the two series that oth halves of the python team did before they became Monty Pythons Flying Circus.
A lot of the above episodes are sadly deleted from the vaults, but presented here are 3 episodes of At Last The 1948 Show and 5 of Do Not Adjust Your Set. You can see where it all came from, and needs to be watched by all python fans, but be prepared for some poor sketches, and some classics too!
On the downside, 2 of the episodes of 1948 are on disk 2, which really doesn't exist, even though the DVD asks for it, side 1 is a copy of a USA master that has a second DVD :) And theres an FBI warning on the front instead of a FAST one, but this is a UK release, its almost as farcical as a Python sketch! Overall essential viewing for python fans!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
