Ned Kelly DVD Report

AKA: Ned Kelly Public Enemy No. 1 - Print: Good - Sound: Good - Label: Universal - Year: 2003 - Cover: OK - Format: 2.35:1 - Length: 1h45m/1h42m - Before: No - Again: No - Price: £1 - Rating: 6/10.

Ned Kelly is fed up with being mistreated because of his heritage, Ned Kelly (Heath Ledger) and his brother Dan (Laurence Kinlan), the sons of an Irish pig thief, form a group of bandits called the Kelly Gang with Joe Byme (Orlando Bloom) and Steve Hart (Philip Barantini), who share their ideals. Kellys mob robs banks, evades the police and earns popular support from the people, much to the annoyance of Superintendent Francis Hare (Geoffrey Rush) who is trying to bring them in for trial.

I saw the Mick Jagger version of this movie no so long ago, and its very similar, but if they are both based on the legend, then they will be the same! So which is better? With thought I'd say Jagger is the better Kelly! But its still a good movie!

Here is the trailer...
