This DVD had the 2d and 3D version on it, I watched the 2D version, as 3D TV always seems to look out of focus and just wrong to me :)
Scar is the story of Ernie Bishop (Ben Cotton), the local undertaker and psycho, sixteen years ago Ernie hid abducted teenagers in the basement of his morgue, then he cut, scarred, and tortured his victims and showed them the damage to their own bodies with a mirror. But one of his victims, Joan Burrows (Angela Bettis), cut herself free and killed Bishop with an embalming fibulator, ending his reign of terror and becoming a local hero!
Joan then left town, but is now returning to see her niece, Olympia (Kirby Bliss Blanton), crowned Prom Queen. But strange murders start, Olympias friends are being abducted and gory clues are being left, pointing to Joan as the killer.
Scar is one of the modern horror movies in the style of Saw and Hostel, its very gory and nasty, not my idea of a horror movie, it doesn't shock me, it just doesn't entertain! I can't say this is worth seeing!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
