In Blackadder The Cavalier Years is the 1988 Comic Relief special. Its 1648, King Charles (Stephen Fry) is in hiding from Cromwell and his Roundheads, but 2 men remain faithful to him, Baldrick (Tony Robinson) and Sir Edmumd Blackadder (Rowan Atkinson), risking certain death with their infidelity to Parliment. But King Charles is due to be executed, and who will do it?
This DVD is sold as Blackadder Back & Forth, with Blackadder The Cavalier Years playing second fiddle, but what a treat it is to see both specials though! I thoroughly recommend this, even though the DVD is somewhat short :)
