In Ricochet, Nick Styles (Denzel Washington) is a happily married Assistant District Attorney, with a distinguished police record, but he is kidnapped, drugged, and framed by Blake (John Lithgow), for arresting him years before. Nick must redeem himself to the police force, his family and the public, who had come to love and respect him.
Washington is excellent in his role of a man in an impossible situation. Lithgow, who is always interesting, is a completely over-the-top psychotic criminal, the final chase sequence around the Watts Towers is a bit silly, but Ricochet is still a great movie! Recommended!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
