Rock Star is inspired by a Judas Priest music industry fable. Chris Cole (Mark Wahlberg), a wannabe rock star who works by day as a photocopier repairman, and by night as the lead singer of Blood Pollution, a Pennsylvania tribute band to the internationally famous Steel Dragon!
Although supported by his girlfriend Emily Poule (Jennifer Aniston), Chris is devastated when his friends kick him out of the band he founded. However his humiliation doesn't last long, as Chris is to replace the lead singer of Steel Dragon, becoming a rock star overnight. He soon has everything he has ever wanted, but is disappointed to discover being a superstar isn't everything he wants!
Rock Star is a film of every rock fans dream, we all want to be Chris! Its a good movie, even for repeat showings, and the soundtrack is pretty good too! Recommended!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
