In Alpha Dog we meet Johnny Truelove (Emile Hirsch), a wild 18-year-old who deals drugs and hangs out with his posse, who revolve around a core of Frankie Ballenbacher (Justin Timberlake), Elvis Schmidt (Shawn Hatosy), and Tiko TKO Martinez (Fernando Vargas). When a dealer, Jake Mazursky (Ben Foster), is unable to pay off his crystal-meth debt, the group kidnap his 15-year-old stepbrother, Zack Mazursky (Anton Yelchin).
As Zack becomes a Patty Hearst-like accomplice in his abduction, friendly and happy to stay, he quickly becomes one of the boys, but as the cops close in on Trueloves posse, realising they have technically kidnapped a minor, so face a tough decision with what to do with Zack.
Alpha Dog is a great movie, Timberlake is great, who put me off watching it initially :) Recommended!
