In The Bourne Identity, the battered body of Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) is pulled from the sea by fisherman and nursed back to health. On awakening he remembers nothing of his past, not even his name or how he got into the sea.
He wanders the city and looks through his pockets, he soon realises he is being hunted by the CIA, and has the skills of an assassin, plus a safety deposit box with guns and a lot of passports. Jason befriends Marie Helena Kreutz (Franka Potente), who tries to help him remember who he is. Now they are both on the run with men following their tracks, but will the CIA find and kill them?
The Bourne Identity is a very enjoyable romp, and as I haven't read the books, I was kept guessing until the end. Recommended!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
