In Paradise Lost, American college students Alex (Josh Duhamel), his younger sister Bea (Olivia Wilde) and a friend Amy (Beau Garrett) are backpacking through Brazil. They meet other backpackers, wild and crazy British mates Finn (Desmond Askew) and Liam (Max Brown), with Australian traveler Pru (Melissa George), on a cross country bus. Barely surviving the drivers reckless behaviour, sending the bus off a cliff, they find a beach that looks like paradise, but overnight are all robbed by who they think are friendly locals.
Searching for a phone to contact the police, they meet familiar face Kiko (Agles Steib), who leads them to a house deep in the jungle, but this supposed safe haven will mean their death.
Paradise Lost is another of those gore-torture horrors, thats Hostel did well and all the imitastors didn't! Generally boring!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
