In Night at the Museum, Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) a kind-hearted dreamer, who has had none of his ideas or inventions has pay off, so he takes a job as a graveyard-shift security guard at the Museum of Natural History to provide a stable life for himself and his ten-year-old son.
On his first night, he finds guarding of the museum is far from easy, at nightfall an Egyptian artefact brings everything to life. With Attila the Hun charging to war through the hallways, the diorama miniatures embroiled in a deadly feud, and a two-ton Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton nagging to play fetch with a bone, Larry turns to a wax replica of President Roosevelt (Robin Williams) for a little advice, then just as Larry gets the idea of it all, he finds the museum is being robbed!
Initially, I wasn't keen on seeing Night at the Museum, but the price was right so I bought it, and I'm pleased I did as its not a bad movie! About an hour into the film it slows down, but soon gathers momentum again! Recommended!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
