In Frequency, as the Mets compete in the 1969 World Series, John Sullivan (James Caviezel), in October 1999, talks to his father, Frank Sullivan (Dennis Quaid), on a Ham radio, who has been dead for 30 years. There is a time disturbance brought on by the reappearance of the Aurora Borealis, so they are trying to rebuild the past.
But every change affects the future, each time denying John the dream of reuniting his family. John refers to a constantly changing photograph of his family to tell who is alive and who is dead, based on how he and his father have changed the past. As the 2 time periods collide they struggle to catch a killer and save their family!
Frequency is a pretty good movie, and pretty non stop storyline too! Recommended.
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
