I've spent the last few days watching the Psycho collection, all 4 movies. The first movie is the adventures of Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins), dressed as his mother, killing women. Part 2 sees Norman released from an asylum over 20 years later, and someone killing women on his behalf, he also finds his mother isn't his mother. In Part 3 we find his mother really was his mother and those claims where by a woman from an asylum. Part 4 is probably the best of the series, with Norman on the phone to a radio chat show, remembering his origins and closing the film series.
This is a good movie series, but I'm not a Hitchcock fan, so I found part 1 a bit dull (maybe I have seen it too many times), part 4 is recommended if you have seen the other 3 parts!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
