Sacha Baron Cohen already has two classic characters, Ali G the Is it cos I is black TV presenter from Staines, and Borat the interviewer from Kazakhstan.
Ali G, Innit is a compilation of his interviews from The Eleven OClock Show, Ali G is a deliberately ridiculous character, crass, street level, and sexist. He asks the hard questions, like why do Catholics and Muslims fight in Northern Ireland, why do we learn grammes in school when drugs are sold in ounces, confuses lesbianism with feminism, do top hats make you upper class, and seems to really fall out with Tony Benn :)
Ali G, Innit is very funny, I laughed long an loud, it must be a decade since this was on TV, and I have just about forgotten all the routines!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
