Strange Things Happen At Sundown sees vampire gangsters in New York City, led by the vicious Jimmy Fangs (Joseph DeVito), intent on creating an army of the living dead, there are 2 vampire lovers, hiding out in a hotel room with $100,000 of the mobsters money, with a born again Christian girl tied to the bed, a very old vampire assassin, called The Reaper (Steve Gonzalez), who does mob hits and fears nothing except for his psychotic, four-hundred year old wife (Livia Llewellyn). And all of them are being hunted by a mysterious vinyl clad vampire woman who wants to kell them!
And all that sounds like a good horror movie, the problem is, Strange Things Happen At Sundown is rubbish, I even watched the last 30 minutes on fast forward, which I haven't done for ages! Terrible!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
