Phenomena DVD Report

In Phenomena, Jennifer Corvino (Jennifer Connelly) is the new girl at boarding school and the daughter of a famous actor. Shes had trouble with sleepwalking for some time, her doctor says it may develop into a split personality (for some bizarre unexplained reason!). Jennifer discovers she has special powers over insects.

But someone has been killing the students, and it relates only indirectly to the criminal sanatorium nearby. With the help of a wheelchair-bound Professor John McGregor (Donald Pleasence), she investigates.

Phenomena is an odd movie, I've never been a fan of Dario Argento, I really think this is like a Disney movie, but with gore. Plus every scene starts too early and ends too late, plus each time anyone speaks, there is a one second gap between sentences! Odd movie, for Argento fans only, I understand the USA release retitled Creepers is edited, is it better I wonder?
