Based on the second novel in the CS Lewis series, The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian, Caspian finds the Pevensie children, Peter (William Moseley), Susan (Anna Popplewell), Edmund (Skandar Keynes), and Lucy (Georgie Henley), summoned from WWII England to the realm of Narnia.

They discover 1,300 years have passed in Narnia since they left, and is now controlled by the Telmarines, humans who have banished the magical creatures to the wilderness. The heir to the Telmarine throne, Prince Caspian (Ben Barnes), survives an assassination attempt by his uncle Miraz (Sergio Castellitto), the children stumble across Narnias exiled enchanted populatus, and lead them into an uprising!

Prince Caspian is a darker and more action-packed movie than The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe, and contains many battle sequences. Although I read Lion at school, I never continued with the rest, and with 2 war based movies under their belt, its time for a different plot, but overall I found this enjoyable!

2010 sees the next film in the series released, The Chronicles of Narnia The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

Here is the trailer...
