In Dawn Of The Dead, the world has become a living nightmare, with the population hit by a lethal plague that means the dead don't stay dead, corpses are now driven by an insatiable hunger to feed upon the living.
After a terrifying escape from her suburban Wisconsin home, Ana Clark (Sarah Polley) runs into a small group of humans, who seek refuge in an abandoned shopping mall. As the world grows more hellish, the ever-increasing army of zombies tirelessly strive to break in. Sealed off from the world, the malls inhabitants must learn to co-exist with each other, and use every available resource in their fight to remain alive.
Dawn Of The Dead is one of my favourite movies, even better then the original version, which is rare! If you skip the end credits, you'll miss a lot, as you find out about their doomed boat trip, so watch them! I have seen this several times, and will several more, and they are making a follow up too, I can't wait! Fantastic movie that really brings the futility of fighting back home! Recommended!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
