Well its an antholoy, and it has zombies in it, but the similaties end here...
Tara Woodley is a reporter looking to do a story on the famous ghost legends of an old desert town. She can't seem to find the place until she picks up a strange hitchhiker, Ebenezer Jackson, who tells her he knows the way. Ebenezer proceeds to lead the skeptical Tara on a strange journey. They encounter a variety of characters. An Army Sergeant whose vicious cruelty kills a recruit and three hapless campers who bumble into an old, cursed outlaw cemetery.
The print was poor, taken from a bad video tape, the acting sucked, the effects sucked, the stories sucked, and even some of the camera angles where not that level! On a happier point is was only 70ish minutes long, so the swift ending was a pleasant surprise, and it had a nice cover, but that misleads us into thinking its a good movie!
Searching on the internet, The Zombie Chronicles is also available as a 3D version, unless the 3D version is a totally differant movie, I think its a good thing this was 2D only!
Overall, if you see this DVD on sale, cross the street, kill the shop assistant, or even set fire to the store selling it - yes its that bad!
